Helium Balloons

Helium balloons have been readily used for many different types of occasion, event and milestone. From children’s birthday parties to get well bouquets, few things can make a person smile like a balloon. And with the hundreds of varieties from which to choose, there is sure to be something for everyone.

Helium balloons can be made from several different materials. The most common material is latex, and these balloons can be found just about anywhere. Mylar and foil are also common materials used to make these balloons.

Helium balloons have been used for human flight as well. There are myriad examples of people that have strapped themselves to a group of balloons and have sailed off with the wind. In fact, there have been a couple recent national news stories about just such occurrences.
